The language corpora of the Frisian Academy
The Frisian Academy is working on the construction of four language corpora.
- The corpus nineteenth-century Frisian
- The Middle Frisian corpus. All existing Middle Frisian texts are contained in the Middle Frisian corpus. The texts are tagged and lemmatised; spelling variants have been brought together. Thus the Middle Frisian corpus contains the basis for a Middle Frisian dictionary; but the semantic and idiomatic distinctions still have to be made for each lemma.
